We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Air Conditioning Estimator to join our team.

Job Description:
As a Commercial Air Conditioning Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project team, responsible for preparing comprehensive estimates for a full range of mechanical projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, reviewing bid package blueprints and drawings, and calculating take-offs to ensure the accuracy of material and labor costs. You will be engaged in the full cycle of estimating, including quantifying materials, labor, sub-trades, equipment, and other project-related costs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial air conditioning projects.
- Quantify materials, labor, sub-trades, equipment, etc., ensuring thorough cost analysis.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Review bid package blueprints and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct take-offs and calculations, checking for mathematical and technical accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all estimating processes.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during the estimating process.
- Demonstrate a professional, approachable, and customer-service-oriented demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members.

Basic Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, approachable, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Project).
- Mechanical-related post-secondary degree and/or diploma.
- Valid journeyman plumbing & gas certifications.
